Young Avengers mini-busts?

It seems Marvel only wants you to do the older/Silver Age era, but Bowen Designs is the only company that could do this team justice, plus with the costume changes you've got really easy variants.

while i personally really enjoyed the first incarnation of the team (esp Yu's pencils), i fear it's sort of too soon in the team's career to know whether they've got the pull of older, proven characters. You can't throw a stone w/out hitting 3 Spidey or Iron Man villains or an Avenger or an X-Man, but they've all been selling comics for 40 years.

i fear that's the same reason one's best bet for any of the New X-Men is to find one of the really cool kits that're floating around.

I disagree, I'd much rather have these guys than...oh say, Mojo. I see your point though, but I think this group will be around and have proven themselves in their 13 issues and new mini, moreso than some of the characters that have been around for 40 years and nowhere near the amazing stories told about them.

I also think people who buy comics and mini-busts are more familiar with them than some of the characters in the works.

And one correction, it was Jim Cheung on pencils.

I can say without reservation that I would buy every single bust of the Young Avengers, the Runaways and especially the New X-Men (X-23 and company). These three series are completely awesome.

I'm with you: i think this should be the next generation of the avengers & the busts would all look really cool, but based on the BD sculptures so far, they don't have the same kind of legacy.
