Which of you have read any of the Reflections books? (1-5) What part of them do...

Four of them out so far. All are 48 pages on art process, sketches, etc.

#5 is in the current Marvel Icon solicitation catalogue.

Which of the 4 have you seen so far?

What part of them do you like best?

Yes, I have! I've seen most of them-- I think I own two, and then the one you gave Ami. We really enjoy looking at them, especially because of all the extra stuff.

We love looking at the older convention pictures and exclaiming, "whoa! Look how young Mack was!" Haha. Just kidding.

The sketches and the photos are definetely my favorite part.

Doh! Look how young I was
    I'm almost grown up now.

What kinds of sketches and photos would you prefer to see in the future?

Book 5 would be my very first one, and I look forward to seeing it.

In progress sketches are always neat-- I like the scrapbook-like pages, mixed with pictures of you working, the models you use and sketches thrown it. It's neat. Feels like owning something really personal and fun.

I've got all of them and my fave parts are the sketches and paintings.
I'd like to see more process pieces and maybe good shots of never before seen works.
I'd also like to see if there were any changes to the work that you recorded, kind of like a Road not taken.

Thumbs up Re: Which of you have read any of the Reflections books? (1-4) What part of them do.

#5 will be my first Relections, would like to see where you get inspirtion for your text from.
just read Skin Deep tpb, in one sitting, not the best way to read it I know, but I did like the comic touches and the m.manson, jayne's addiction (aaahhh, the good old days!) bit's as well, so maybe some comments on how you select other artists work, for inspiration etc. and how they encourage you in your own work... like you did in DD:Echo with the painters, so behind the scenes info. stuff thay you do for yourself and private sale and no more photo's of 'Long Hair Mack!' - they are a bit freaky
anything you feel that's been missing in the other 4 issues.

I like anything about the process. (I remember one of them showed you in your studio with all kinds of files of stuff that you use...) It's cool for someone like me (with a lack of artistic ability) to see how you do it.

I have a couple of them..I don't remember which ones (I think 1 and 2 the ones you had at WWC last fall) I really like the development process stuff-the sketches, models, and process of creating it. They are all awesome.

I think more on how you came up with the story and developed the characters is great, some of the additional work outside of Kabuki included would be cool.
Is it possible to learn this power?
    Not from a Jedi.
