What is your favorite character from any of the Kabuki volumes?

Akemi.
Siamese.
MC Square.

I knew that was Tigerlily on the plane, dammit! Now I feel less crazy. I've been looking forward to her story since "Masks of the Noh."

I've a feeling I'll appreciate Kageko a great deal as we get to know her more. I liked her inclusion, but she's still a cipher.

I don't trust Butoh at all. I've got the impression she's sitting on a lot of secrets.

the original Kabuki--those first few B&W indie issues were so different than anything I was reading at the time. In those early onese especially...she was IT for me.

Scarab--Kabuki Agents....lol Dave I'll still never forgive you for how that series ended. But this was the series that made me really get to know and love Scarab.

Kai--if only because he was a seriously mean bastard. Kai was probably THE villain so far in terms of Kabuki lore.

Link--that was the name of the little kid that was with Kai right? I woulda liked to have seen more of that computer geek.

Yeah, me too.
It was a total bummer.

But a lot of the deaths were bummers from the beginning.
I even felt sorry for Cowboy.

Well Hell, Cowboy was adorable! Taking pictures for his late family. You couldn't help but feel bad for him.

While I love many Kabuki characters, I feel a lot for Scarab. I think she was a wonderful character, and it killed me to read the end of her story. I also found that it really enhanced the read of Metamorphosis (I read it after Scarab); it really adds to the anonymity of the Noh agents.

I also love Akemi, of course. I love the attitude she has, and how we're not quite sure whether to love her or fear her. I'll check out those Alchemy issues to see if I can find Tigerlilly.

I have to say Kabuki because I love Kabuki. Even though I loved and sympathized with Scarab's well put together backstory that gave her so many dimensions, I didn't mind what happened at the end of her story because I loved Kabuki so much.

I am really looking forward to hearing more about the Siamese Twins. I love their backstory so far. They are viscious but have this childlike playfulness while they sit on top of a pile of stuffed animals. They could very well be the most interesting. . . if I only knew more about them.

My favorite character is Scarab/Keiko. I fell in love with her after Masks of the Noh#1. Butoh and Snapdragon are tied for second. After that the rest are all equally in third, expect for Akemi. I don't know why, but I just don't like Akemi. I guess I feel that is she is the reason Scarab/Keiko is dead. I know it won't happen, but I hope Tigerlily gets revenge on Akemi for all the mess she has caused.
