I say she's not MJ. Or, at least, not only MJ (it's possible she's more than one person). My money's on Carlie Cooper. I have a few reasons:
1. Peter ran into Carlie in the alley at that nightclub (ASM 546) and Carlie gave a patented superhero excuse for being there. Something like "I just needed some air." Or, maybe you were gonna change into your superhero costume, Carlie? Hmmmmmmm?
2. In Jackpot's little back-up story she mentions how many bones there are in the human hand. That's something I would expect a forensic scientist to know. MJ? Not so much.
3. I'd like to say something about how Jackpot and Carlie have the same eye color here, but, as I'm color blind, I have no idea if they do. Can anyone verify this for me?

Not a bad theory, except I recall in the backup feature in #546 written by Marc Guggenheim, Jackpot mentions something costing half a modeling paycheck.
Seeing as Carlie is no model, all signs seem to point to MJ or some other sort of twist. Unless that reference has a double meaning to another type of model, possibly to forensics that we're not aware of
None of the above, I think. In terms of characterisation, it's Mia Flores she seems most like, but I think she's just a strange girl in a strange town.

Wow. Mark your calendars, ladies and gents. I think Spidey616 nailed the identity of Paperdoll! It makes perfect sense to me. It would be cool to learn more about Mia (maybe find out she's been picked up for stalking in L.A. and Manhattan and has several restraining orders against her) and have that dovetail into her descent into madness as Paperdoll. Well done, sir!

I'm having doubts that Mia Flores is Paperdoll. She looks more like Ragdoll or some kind of ghost rather then a hot chick in a costumeAnd also I didn't see any difference in the dialog between the original and the Director's Cut. Although I've only seen the FCBD version in scans. So can anyone point out the differences? Thanks in advance guys.

I'm guessing Mia hasn't adopted her new costumed identity nor gained any powers yet. I think through another typical comic book science accident or magic ritual, etc. Mia gains some paper like abilities prompting Dexter Bennet or Jonah to make some remark about this doll turning into some paper freak.
