There's quite a lot of really good songs on it.

Not enough for me to buy the album, but definitely worth a few downloads on ITunes for the best.

By any chance did you follow those guys back then?

I will cop to to HATING the Moldy Peaches, based on my very limited exposure to them (saw them play live and thought they were wankers). But I find every song by Dawson or the MP on this album to be utterly charming, and I may need to go seek out their catalogue now.

I've practically had that soundtrack on a loop since I saw the movie.

My favorite part is how Michael Cera sings the girl's parts of the Moldy Peaches song.

I saw them in 02 (still got the shirt).
It was great. Club of maybe a hundred people.
They weren't all decked out in costume.
Almost all the live recordings that I've come across don't really give off just how genuine they were, talking around with the audience, talking about having been at SXSW.
What's funny is at the time, they weren't even the band I was most psyched about seeing. It was a showcase with the Selby Tigers, Atom & His Package, the Weakerthans, and the Moldy Peaches rounding it out.
I've really wanted to go and see Adam Green live for his recent efforts. But he seems to only like the coasts and Europe.
