Which is the better of the misunderstood sci fi films?

    Blade Runner or Brazil?

    Both were huge productions.
Both were released to cold box office numbers.
Both were recut by the studio.
    Both later gained cult status.
And both were restored by their director in one way or the other.

Which one of the better of the two?

Brazil's a better movie, but Blade Runner was more influential.

I voted Brazil, IMO it stands up better in 2008 than Blade Runner does...
