Sell me on Ares: God of War

So I was surfing around the Marvel free comic books online they just launched and came across Marvel's "Ares: God of War" by Michael Avon Oeming, Travel Foreman.

So who read this? Likes... dislikes?

Are there any other TPBs on Ares or was this the only one?

I know you all must be saying... just read the online version I can get from marvel... Well while that is a great Idea I prefer to own and hold the book in my hands so I don;t want to spoil the story by reading it online then buying the book.

So sell me... Is this book worth owning or should I just read it online?

It was really good - nice new take on Ares.

    Buy It.

I don't understand why Oeming doesn't have a monthly writing gig.

and the art is nothing to sneeze at.

That book is one of the few I'd give an easy ten to the whole run of. I know that's not saying much when you consider it's a 5 issue mini, but that book had me grabbed instantly. Oeming needs to be writing more of Marvel's God characters. Between this and Thor: Ragnarok, he's made me a complete fan of the characters.

That's dumb. Just check out the book. Reading the first issue doesn't spoil the series.
