Hey Liquid -- You should list the comics you buy every month. That way we can all help you decide what to drop to replace with Criminal.
Seriously, though I obviously have a vested interest when it comes to Criminal, I've been telling people this for a while about more indie books. They really need the support that goes to other books that people often just buy out of habit. I've been trying to get more people reading Scalped and Casanova, because those are my favorite new titles in the last few years, and so I've just been saying, "if you can't afford a new series on your budget, look at what you buy. Are there any mainstream superhero titles that you buy out of long-term habit and don't really enjoy much? If so, drop one and try something new that deserves the support."
Indie books usually exist with the threat of the ax at all times, which is something most readers don't understand. We're very lucky on Criminal that our sales have been pretty solid from day one, but we can always use more, as can other good books.
