I've still yet to see a Wii with my own eyes at a retail store. I would probably grab one if I did, as I want to play Galaxy when it comes out.

It's becoming easier here to find one. I saw four consoles at the EB Games store here by our house, which is what sparked this thread.

Dude, get Zelda. The controls are awesome. I mean, you can slash at shit with the damn controller. It is just too cool. It doesn't take very long to get used to it and it is very cool. I can't understand how they haven't done this before now. I was kind of worried about the Wii and the controller, but I am a converted follower. Ocarina is in my top 3 favorite games ever and I am not an rpg man at all. I just love the Zelda action. Let your worries be over my brother.

Yeah, I know Zelda has always been a good game, but for some reason I'm really getting sold on Metroid. Cuz I can get Zelda on GC and buy the Wii later. I don't think that I would miss anything out of the games just based on the controls. And I've been playing Metroid longer than I have Zelda.

I never have played Metroid, but I have only played Ocarina and maybe another for the game boy. It is pretty cool to hack and slash with the controls. I would get it off ebay one day for the wii. That is what I did. I got a perfect used copy off ebay for 25.

Have you played either of the other Metroid Primes? If you did, and liked them at all, you'll LOVE 3. It takes that model and sets a new standard for the FPS.

Ohh yeah I've been playing Metroid since NES . . . the only I haven't played is Hunters (?) on the DS. And I've loved every Metroid game all for different reasons. But I like Prime the best over Echoes.

Then you should love Prime 3. Echoes kinda sucked, imo, but Prime 3 is up there with the first.

Also, I now think that Beautiful Katamari and Guitar Hero III are titles that everyone should own, even commies and rednecks.

My biggest fault with Echoes was ammo for the Dark and Light beam. They have never done ammo on the beams before and to me this added to the horrible difficulty I already had with many of the bosses.

I actually still have beaten Echoes. I tried and tried and could only get to the third transformation of Emporer Ing and would always die. Then I found out you had to fight Dark Samus after that with no energy replenish. Eff it. I watched the ending on youtube. Only game that I can remember that was so difficult that it frustrated me to the point that I didn't want to even try.
