I don't know, he's a notorious douche, but I wouldn't really describe that as a "meltdown". I think they're reaching a little bit. Yeah not doing the encore is lame, and he can be such a baby. It seems even sober now, he still can act like an ass.

He did this in NYC last year. He played three nights at Town Hall and the third night he got all bent out of shape because people kept yelling out songs they wanted to hear. He mumbled something about "oh it's not like I bothered to work all day on a set list" and didn't do an encore set then either. ), but he shouldn't be such a brat about it.

I saw him live maybe 4 years ago? Could've been 3. Anyway, he was totally cool, played a great set, and talked about Ghostbusters between songs.

He whined about people shouting out songs they wanted to hear? I remember Oasis whined on stage because everybody started cheering for Sonic Youth when they went on the second stage during Oasis's set. People were more interested in Sonic Youth tuning their guitars, so Oasis stomped off all pissy like.

Oasis had a good reason to whine. Ryan Adams... not so much.
