Doktor Sleepless rocks. But Mighty Avengers has already gotten too much of my money... $6 I'll never see again...
Because of the fuckin' air compressor.
I think I'm going down to:
Ultimate Spider-Man
Powers
New Avengers
Mighty Avengers
JLA
Black Summer
Doktor Sleepless
The Order
New Warriors
I know I sound like a Bendis nerd but I love those books, I love the new JLA, and I can't get enough of the new Ellis books. Plus that's only a little over twenty bucks a month.

Why do you still have signatures turned on?

Dude. You so are not cut out for internet discussion boards. That lackadaisical, slack-arsed mindset might work "in the real world", but here on the net, small continuity errors and inconsistencies are the things a Jihad is made of. If you can't get spittle-froth at the corners of your mouth over the plot of a TV show, you're just owned.
Oh shit!
I gotta include the Order and New Warriors.
I GOTTA.
No choice.
Okay, still not bad.

Looks like a good list and mirrors my own. I have to read all of the Avengers stuff monthly too, these days, along with USM.
Powers, I've gone back to trade. It's how I started, and how I think the series reads best. I'm the same way with all Warren Ellis stuff these days too.
Unfortunately, I can't do the Powers trades, because then I'd miss out on the lettercol. Even when it's stupid interview shit that I've already read it interests me for some reason.

cut them all.
no.
comics are always one of those things that, when one is trying to cut a pull list or whatever, it seems as though can't cut this title or that title because they love it so much and have read it for ten years.
but in my experience, and reading many others, when i stopped buying the monthly titles completely i had far more money for other things, and became more judicious in what i did spend my comics money on. which leads me to owning a bookshelf of titles i can talk intelligently about instead of boxes and boxes of comics in bags and boards that i'll probably never read again.
