There is nothing wrong with listening to their first two albums a lot.
Two of the best albums of the 90s. And honestly, two of my favorite albums of all time

The first two = awesome.
Green is OK. Maladroit has it's good qualities. But Make Believe... ick.
What's the deal with my brain?
Why am I so obviously insane?
In a perfect situation
I let love down the drain.
There's the pitch, slow and straight.
All I have to do is swing
and I'm a hero, but I'm a zero.
Hungry nights, once again
Now it's getting unbelievable.
'Cause I could not have it better,
But I just can't get no play
From the girls, all around
As they search the night for someone to hold onto.
And I just pass through...
Singing...
Ooohhhhh oh. Ooohhhhh oh. Ooohhhhhhhhhh.
Singing...
Ooohhhhh oh. Ooohhhhh oh. Ooohhhhhhhhhh.
Get your hands off the girl,
Can't you see that she belongs to me?
And I don't appreciate this excess company.
Though I can't satisfy all the needs she has
And so she starts to wander...
Can you blame her?
Singing...
Ooohhhhh oh. Ooohhhhh oh. Ooohhhhhhhhhh.
Singing...
Ooohhhhh oh. Ooohhhhh oh. Ooohhhhhhhhhh.
Tell me there's a logic out there.
Leading me to better prepare
For the day that something really special might come.
Tell me there's some hope for me.
I don't wanna be lonely
For the rest of my days on the earth.
Oh..!!
[solo]
Ooohhhhh oh. Ooohhhhh oh. Ooohhhhhhhhhh.
Singing...
Ooohhhhh oh. Ooohhhhh oh. Ooohhhhhhhhhh.
Singing...
Ooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...
Why do you still have signatures turned on?
I've really loved the first two, definately. And Green I thought was pretty damn good. Make Believe, I will admit, is not really too great. I love some of the songs on there, but it just isn't anywhere near as good as Blue, Green, Pinkerton, or Maladroit. I just... I really am digging this music as of late. I have always liked Weezer, but recently I've just started listening in excess. It's weird.
You people have lost your damn minds. Maladroit better than Make Believe?
Double you tea eff, people. Double you tea eff.
WEEZER IS TEH ROXOR!
Er... sorry.
But seriously, even their worst album is really listenable. (And yeah, I say that's Make Believe.)
Blue Album is a fantastic album--not one bad song on there. All fantastically crafted.
Pinkerton is one of my favorite albums of all time. Not as catchy as Blue, but a lot more depth.
Green Album is about 50/50--some great songs, some forgettable.
Maladroit has a few good songs.
Make Believe actually sounded to me like a half baked attempt to recreate Pinkerton--more heartfelt, personal songs. I despise Beverly Hills and don't like We Are All on Drugs, but the rest of the album is pretty interesting.
live Weezer stuff is great.
Matt Sharp who was part of the band for the first two albums reformed his other band, The Rentals.
They just put out a new EP which you might want to check out.
It's gonna take something amazing to restore my faith in Rivers, though.
