i think there are 8 issues, and a trade collecting them all.
it is a fun filled ride of ben templesmith knocking weird things warren ellis thinks of/hears about out of the fucking park
I've sort of been digging around, looking into some stuff about this series. From what I gather, it sounds just like the sort of thing that'd be right up my alley. And I lurve Ellis. Still, I've been having a wee bit of trouble finding things like solicits for it and such, and I'm a bit curious to see what you all think about it anyway.
How often does it come out? How many issues are there? Is it an ongoing? And what do you think of it?

Fell's great!
The format really interests me, and fortunately the execution is great.
Here's the book description on Amazon:
Detective Richard Fell is transferred over the bridge from the big city to Snowtown, a feral district whose police investigations department numbers three and a half people (one detective has no legs). Dumped in this collapsing urban trashzone, Richard Fell is starting all over again. In a place where nothing seems to make any sense, Fell clings to the one thing he knows to be true: everybody's hiding something.
And here's a BoingBoing review.
See, this all sounds pretty great.
So is it monthly? Bimonthly...ish?
It is awesome with staples.
Why dont you try this .....

Uh... quarterly? Maybe?
Another thing I like is that it's episodic. Each issue is self-contained, although there are elements that recur. So, even though the delay between issues is annoying, it's not like you're stuck in the middle of a story arc and have to try to remember what's going on, you just have to remember the premise.
It wasn't my cup of tea. I recently read issues 2-4 and thought it was meh. I would rather read criminal for some crime. I like more realistic stuff and it was a litle too far out there for me.
