The Beatles 'Help!' gets deluxe DVD treatment
The classic film is digitally remastered
The Beatles classic 1965 film 'Help!' will be released on DVD format this autumn.
The Richard Lester-directed movie will be packaged as a two-disc set, and is set to be released in the US by Apple Corps Ltd on October 30.
In addition to the digitally restored film with a new 5.1 soundtrack, it will also include bonus features such as a 30-minute documentary of the making of the film with the director, cast and crew.
Behind-the-scenes footage with The Beatles is also on tap, along with explanations of the restoration process.
The DVD will be available in two formats: a deluxe box set and a standard double-disc release. Both will include a booklet with notes from Lester and Martin Scorsese, but the deluxe version also boasts a reproduction of Lester's original script and a 60-page photo book.

I'm still waiting for the Magical Mystery Tour (which I only found out was a movie after watching The Rutles and looking stuff up online).
