D.J. Coffman's "Hero By Night" is going to become an ongoing series from Platinum Studios.

I'm co-writing this, btw -- go me!

But then you go and get all controversial, As for the other stuff, all I can say is that Platinum has been exceptionally kind and generous to not only DJ, but also myself in what exposure I've had with them.

If you read Gaiman's blog, he talks often about how slammed he is with prose work. Even Joey Q has said no comics would be coming from Gaiman for a while.

From the way it was phrased in LITG, it sounded like it was someone at DC's fault though. Though perhaps it was worded in that way for maximum juicyness.

People don't realize it, but the stuff about Diamond doing away with their reorder penalty is HUGE news!

It should definitely help sales. It seems like the small press books are the ones that would need re-orders the most.

Agreed, that is wonderful news!!! Diamond has done a lot of things to hurt the indie market, but this is a step in the right direction.

Sucks about the lack of new Gaiman work for DC. Sounds like Gaiman was on board but DC couldn't make it happen. Didio's fault? Someone spill...

Yeah...that was the best thing I read in the whole article. (And I admit -- I was really only looking for the juicy news that Rich hinted about. I was very disappointed. Rather tame week)
