Cap.America #29 (spoilers maybe)

Just got through reading Cap # 29 and noticed towards the end of the comic, when Falcon was set on fire and the top part of his uniform was destroyed.....he's later flying and still has his wings?? I thought his wings were part of his uniform? Just curious.

His actual wings are a type of energy aren't they? So they can still work to a degree with part of his costume destroyed.

Does he still have those energy wings? I had thought they fold up into a pack on his back, which presumably is also fireproof...

Actually, that whole sequence seemed kinda odd to me. I can't put my finger on it, but something about Falcon's dialogue and reaction to being burned and Sharon's reaction to him flying her later just seemed off. Maybe I'm just looking for Skrulls everywhere
