Tampa Con Report 08-19-07

So I went to Tampa con today. For those of you in Indy, it's a lot like an Ash con. Kind of tiny but a lot of really good deals. I got the Dracula X-Men annual by Bill S. for 2 bucks and the first appearance of Sunfire for 5. I also got the Skrull and Brood Two pack from Marvel Select and a few other things. All in all it was pretty cool. EVS didn't make it, but it was overall pretty cool. The only draw back is I accidentally bought a reprint of Uncanny X-Men 61 for $5 when I thought I was getting the original copy. Oh well.

You know, three years ago I went there with the RMC crew and saw Ethan. As we often did at cons. He was working on a certain piece that eventually turned out to be GL : Rebirth.

I also picked up the entire Invaders run from the 70's there, as well as a DC Direct Question action figure.

I love Tampa con, and get excited every six months when I get the mailer.
