The Naming of Puppy

Okay, so a mate at work has just gotten a new puppy - quite possibly the cutest puppy in the World. I'd attach a pic, but the pootas at work are faaaaarked, so I'm pretty limited with the stuff I can do in these forums. Oh well.

Anyhow, back to the point. I'm trying to convince her to name it Bendis. She's not terribly impressed with that. So I've offered these other suggestions:

Sir Barks-a-lot
Captain Cutie
Barky the mischievous puppy-dog
Doctor Doggikins
Elwood

Any other suggestions?

Oh, and has anybody out there named their pet Bendis or any other comic creator's name?
