Interesting how you enabled the poll to see who's voting which way on this one and not the others..

    Very interesting

Not for nothing, and this is coming from a "hater", but wouldn't there be more negative review people that have pretended to see it than those with positive reviews? I don't get the accusation.

No conspiracy here. I just never really paid attention to that option until yesterday afternoon when I noticed it being used on another poll. I was going to go back and change the other two, but you can't edit poll options.

    I'll see it tonight....so I'll give my thoughts then. I am oddly excited...which I didn't think I would be.

Yes because we have nothing better to do than lie and say we Episode III early.

For example, this scene (which I guess technically is a spoiler):
Anakin's turn to the Dark Side fell flat, because I never really bought into the romance between him and Padme. I would have prefered there to be more manipulation by Palpatine, but he basically tells Anakin upfront what he's doing, and Anakin willing makes the choice to go to the Dark Side. It all just felt too easy.

But yeah, had those first two prequels been on par with this, I would have at the very least been satisfied. I still don't know that they would have met my expectations, but I wouldn't have been disappointed.

The thing that got me was...

    Spoiler:
What could've been. Hayden Christiansen seemed a little more competent with the contruction of a basic sentence than he was last time, but more than that, hes actually seemed to be friends with Obi-Wan here, instead of just whining and arguing all the time. He actually seemed to be in love with Padme, or at least kinda like her, and vice versa, instead of being a creepy stalker rapist looking weirdo. If those relationships hadn't been so COMPLETELY unbelievable last time out, II wouldn't have been bad, really. And in the first half of this, they still had their faults, but they were servicable. It just made me wish Lucas had gotten his act together sooner...

Not really anything that I'd call spoilers there.

But, no kidding. After spending two movies making me hate Anakin, it's sort of too late to try and make him a likable character at this point. If it weren't for those previous two movies, they probably would have pulled it off, but I just can't get past how apathetic I was to the character going into this movie.
