    Shame on you!

    No Black Sabbath?

The first sixth Sabbath are damn near perfect!

Dude, they either just did, or are about to play Jaxx in Springfield - original line-up! Check out www.jaxxroxx.com you won't BELIEVE the old-school bands that are together and touring!

btw, when I lived in San Francisco, Rob Castevany (DA guitarist) usaed to do acoutstic gigs at bars and coffee shops. Stuff like "Room With A View"!

    "Welcome to the third floor..."

I don't know that I could go see any of those bands today. I'm only into the music for nostalgia, and I don't think I could find anyone to go with me anyway. Trill makes fun of my mullet years pretty relentlessly. And rightfully so, I say.

I know, I feel the same way. Half of me is very morbidly curious what these bands look/sound like today, but then the smarter half realizes that I'll spend 20 bucks to watch one song then leave!

    Top 5?

    hmm...

    1. Black Sabbath - Sabbath Bloody Sabbath
    2. Sepultura - Chaos A.D.
    3. At The Gates - Slaughter of the Soul
    4. Trouble - Trouble
    5. Voivod - Nothingface

edit: and I just relized I left Judas Priest's Sad Wings of Destiny off the list...

    probably forgetting other shit too...

    Interesting choices.

I would say "MasterOf Reality" for Sabbath - even though technically it should probably be considered an EP! A handful of tracks and some acoustic pieces isn't really an album, but "Children Of The Grave" and "After Forever" are some of their best ever. Hell - every song on MOR is a classic!

Speaking of At the Gates, have you heard the new Haunted? That's the best adrenaline shot I've had in a long time. Great for days at work when I didn't get enough sleep...
