10 - Everything I want in a comic, an instant classic
9 - Excellent, a nearly perfect read
8 - Highly recommended but it has minor flaws
7 - Very good, it does have some problems
6 - Above average but has deep flaws
5 - An average comic
4 - Below average, the flaws outweigh the good
3 - A disappointing comic
2 - Forgettable, a waste of time
1 - Stay away!! One of the worst comics I've read

9/10. Some great Chaykin panels, some lousy Chaykin panels. The story was pitch perfect, however.

I picked this up because everyone here seemed so excited about it, but I haven't had a chance to read it yet. I thought for some reason that it was a one shot issue, so I'm a little annoyed at that, but very much looking forward to checking it out.

Wow. For having not read a punisher title in something like 12 years, it is good to see some thing don't really change.

This was a pretty damn impressive issue. Good compelling story with lots of action. The art was rather nice as well. There were some places where I felt a little lost, but not enough to detract from the story at all. 8/10

The first 49 issues of this series are easily some of the best comics produced in the last 12 years. You've never read a Punisher title like this before.

Ok, I read this only for the purpose of reviewing it for this thread, figured it would be pretty good, as most of Ennis' stuff is, but to be honest, didn't really expect to like it all that much.

Oh wow this was fuckin goooooooood. Seriously, really fucking good. And man, this is the best I've seen Chaykin's art in a loooooooong time. I used to love the guy's stuff, but in the past few years I think he's really slipped. But this issue was really tight, he really brought it again. Good shit.

I haven't picked up Punisher since this series started, though I have always been an Ennis fan. At the recommendation of my LCS owner, I picked up the wonderful Punisher Presents: Barracuda series, and was not going to miss Barracuda interacting with The Punisher. Great story and great art by Chaykin, who I have really become a fan of in recent years. Now I'm off to the back issue bins to see what I have been missing with this Punisher series, and am eagerly awaiting next issue. 8/10

Wow, I hope you guys who just picked up this issue for the review group go check out the hardcovers and such. This is seriously one of the best comics produced, well, ever, if you like well-told stories with very mature content.
