World of Harry Potter (non book specific) question.

So Hermione's Parents are Muggles & have even been to Diagon Alley. The Dursleys are Muggles who know about magic. Could a muggle-born bring her parents fully into the wizarding world?

If Mr. & Mrs. Granger wanted to reveve "the Daily Prophet" & "the Quibler" by owl, would they be allowed? Are most photos of Hermione of the moving kind in their photo album? Would they have been allowed to move to Hogsmead to beclose to their daughter if they wanted to?

I know it's a kids book & were not susposed to examine it too closely, but I'm really curious on what everyone who loves Harry Potter thinks.

Crom, I have never prayed to you before. I have no tongue for it. No one, not even you, will remember if we were good men or bad. Why we fought, or why we died. All that matters is that two stood against many. That's what's important! Valor pleases you, Crom... so grant me one request. Grant me revenge! And if you do not listen, then to HELL with you!

They do talk about some of the Wizarding villages (such as Godric's Hollow) having both magic and muggle types living side by side... It's just that most of the muggles have no clue what's going on at the end of their street. Sort of how I feel living in a largely Spanish-speaking part of town.

That's never been addressed. I would think that they wouldn't be able to. Their daughter is a witch, not them. That's what I think.

The magic folk were living there in secret.

So they basicly lost their daughter?

Lily Potter (nee Evans)'s muggle parents knew enough about the wizarding world to be excited when she got her Hogwarts letter.

They didn't lose her. She doesn't have to live in a wizard/witch designated area. She could live where ever she wants. Plus it's not like it's hard for her to visit her parents. She can get permission from the ministry to have her parent's fireplace connected to the floo network or she can apparate.

Right. And her sister knew enough to hate her for being a witch. I think Muggles with wizard relatives are aware of the wizard world but likely have long since accepted the fact that other Muggles will think they're nuts if they talk about it. I imagine the Ministry of Magic also takes steps to limit the spread of information from "aware" Muggles to non-aware Muggles.

I always wondered why Hermione's parents never played any roll at all in the books, when Ron's were so prominent. Muggle-based descrimination.
