Nice choice. I'm not sold til the reviews are in, though.
And the guy might be as talented as Macy, but he's certainly not as prolific.

Good choice in my opinion!
Of all the characters in the film Rorschach needs to be an unknown. And while this guy isn't a first timer or anything he's not William H. Macy either.
He's ugly enough to play the part too.
Daniel Craig would have made a good Rorschach before he became James Bond.

Winter is Coming.
Is Watchmen officially Green-Lit?
After the success of 300 it's no surprise but i'm a little startled that casting has begun.
Either way, pretty damn good choice. I don't want no damn pretty boy as Rorschach.
Oh yeah! I ran into Zack Snyder at a 300 screening and asked him what was up.
As of last March it was definitely going forward and he was battling with the studio about the rating and the pirate stuff. He said they were definitely making it though. He said the main debate was whether it is R in theaters or on DVD and whether or not they let him film the Pirate story as a supplemental short.
The Rating has apparently been settled but I don't know about the Pirate stuff.
That's a good choice.
My vote was for the clown who played "The Sherminator" in the American Pie saga.
Yeah, the pirate subplot, I doubt that will be in the feature film, and that might be for the best. But it is awesome that he is considering filming it for the dvd.
I wanted Seth Green.

The pirate thing, to me...would be next to impossible to do well in the live action movie. First of all, you simply dont have the time to do it. Secondly, in the comic it is a comic...so it wouldnt be something you would "film" and get the same effect.
Great choice. Now all they gotta do is cast Kate Winslet as Silk Spectre II and they'll have a Little Children reunion.
