June 14, 2007 - On August 21, 2007, Universal Studios Home Entertainment will release Serenity (Collector's Edition) on DVD. The Joss Whedon smash hit, based on his hit series Firefly, will feature two discs worth of bonus materials and extra features, and will be available for the MSRP (Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price) of $26.98.

The Serenity (Collector's Edition) DVD will feature the following bonus materials:

second dvd. there was also a dvd release in region 4 with a bunch more extras and this collector's edition seems to include all that. so far i already own this on dvd and hd-dvd so i guess this will be my third copy of the film.

I hate it when I feel compelled to buy a movie twice.

I guess I can't complain too much. I bought the Evil Dead movies three times each (although twice was on VHS).

This will be one of the first DVD's I've bought twice.

The special features look great.

Maybe if the DVD sells well they'll make a sequel.
