I was unfortunately marked by the Krofft live-action spectacle that was Electra Woman & Dynagirl.
I can remember coming down stairs early on Saturday mornings, like 6:30 or 7:00. The really cool shows did not start until about 8:00am. I'd flip on the tv and maybe entertain myself for a whiel with my Shogun Warrriors robots or Stretch Armstrong. Then all the best shows would start coming on right around the time my stomach would start growling. By about the third bowl of Rice Krispies or Corn Flakes (with 3 heaping teaspoons of sugar sludge at the bottom of the bowl), Kanuki would come on. I found this old NOH TV ad in the back of an old ROM the Spaceknight issue in one of my long boxes in storage and it really took me back. By about the 20 minute mark of the show each week after the fourth or fifth severed limb or rolling head, and before the song she always sang prior to the sign-off, my brother and I would be pummeling each other silly over the shag carpet and plaid scotch guarded sofa...oh man - memories.
So what show do you all look forward to each week?
and all apologies to Bruce Timm for the blatant rip off...

I was unfortunately marked by the Krofft live-action spectacle that was Electra Woman & Dynagirl.
That show was the original inspiration for my first series with Oeming: Spandex Tights
The illustrious Mr. Mack (and Bendis as well) provided pin-ups for that book waaay back!
Lost Cause Productions!
Lost Cause Productions? As in Spandex Tights?
Yes.
Does Lost Cause Productions of the Spandex Tights fame still exist as a publishing company?
Lost Cause Productions limped from 1994 to 1998, barely ever broke even, and went out of business several thousand dollars in debt.
