Why does it matter if they're being eaten or not? Do you actually feel less bad about their suffering during the fight if the assholes eat them afterwards?

I guess that's why PETA is all over the meat and poultry industries. I guess I've just detached myself from the difference between consuming an animal because we, as animals, are carnivores, but there's less justification to me for entertainment purposes.

It is possible to kill an animal relatively humanely and then eat it. It is not possible to have a humane animal fight.

Just as the federal government and law enforcement agencies across the country are cracking down on illegal animal fighting, Amazon.com seems to be digging in its heels to do exactly the opposite.

Selling publications teeming with advertisements for upcoming cockfights, cockfighting tools and fighting-cock breeders—specifically two magazines called The Gamecock and The Feathered Warrior—Amazon.com is violating not just common decency but also federal law.Read more

Do we really object to Amazon.com NOT censoring it's products?

    Humans are omnivores, not carnivores.
