This was in the "funny" Justice League relaunch (like what's happening in JL Classified right now). Guy Gardner was a constant dick and Batman never took his crap. So Gardner finally has enough, takes the ring off and it's go time. The League hates Gardner and has been waiting for this. Bats drops him in one punch. Blue Beetle achieve immortality with the constant refrain of "One punch! Bwahahahaha". 'K?
