Today I sent you the package you requested for the future issues of the Daily!

The first volume that is up now, is getting to the good parts! (or my favorites)

and it is going to be cool to see the reaction to the color volumes that come next.

Also, I have The Chupacabra from The Shy Creautures that I am sending you separately.

How is the reaction to the Daily Kabuki right now?

Hey!

I was just thinking about these trades as the Daily Kabuki Circle of Blood is now nearing a finish! Traffic continues to be very consistent and this month picking up - presentation remains the second most visited area of the hiddenrobot site (via newsarama) with 3-5K hits daily. I am greatly anticipating the color work of Dreams (and the pages this past week and today are the shit) and a relaunch of the daily presentation which I do after each arc ends.

I'd imagine readers new and old will like being able to refer at will to hundreds of pages of your work online once the second collection starts up. How coll is that - and FREE!

Thank you for sending everything along and for checking in and we all can't wait for Chupa!

and - no, I'm not on myspace as it frustrates the CRAP outta me. Sorry dude. Maybe I'll give it another shot. POWERS daily is linked from Mike's myspace page!

I checked out a few pages of the daily Kabuki a few weeks back and decided to buy the first trade, so it worked on me at least.

I'm looking forward to diving into it. Been meaning to check out Kabuki for awhile and the stuff on the daily site gave me the extra push I guess I was waiting for.

I expect I'll pop up on your board to gush if I really get into it.

Cool Sam! I would think that with Circle of Blood coming to a close you'll be just in time to check out the color work of Dreams for free and then go grab that one too...

i tell you, the daily pages worked on me with powers. which sucks because it's driving me further and further into debt.

the kabuki pages haven't worked on me yet, BUT i've sent the link to several friends and it has worked on at least 2 of them (2 trades sold).

Great, I look forward to you posting on here when you read it to see what you thought.

That first volume is probably a bit different than most people think of my work, and you'll find that each volume has a different writing and art style to it that is made just for that individual story.

And that first volume is about the earlierst work of mine that I let remain in print. It's from when I'm 21 and the entire story was done when I was in college.

That IS AWESOME - thank you for giving both titles a go and even more so for passing the links along, that is precisely why I agreed to do both POWERS & Kabuki online because I just wanted people to discover each title and as a fellow reader and fan of both titles I know I would have loved the chance to find them this way.
