    Philly boarders!

I'm still trying to figure out my hotel situation for WWPhilly next month. I've got to book something today since it's getting pretty late.
Anyway, if I stay near the airport, is is easy to get to the Con Center via public transportation or something? The hotels in City Center are so damn expensive that I'm looking near the airport now since its about 5-7 miles away from the con. Any info anyone can provide is helpful. Thanks!

there are septa buses that run all along the airport and those hotels, i never stayed down there though so i am not sure which ones to take but i am sure you can get from those two points relatively easily.

The R1 bus line runs from the airport and stops at Market East Station which is about 2 blocks from the convention center.

I recommend you take a cab. Whatever the cost differential between bus/train vs cab is worth the freedom to determine your own schedule.

Is it a pain to park near the Convention Center? Also, is it pretty expensive? I'm also comparing a car rental even though I'd rather not deal with that in a way.

Parking is expensive near the convention center. Although, on Sunday if you get in early enough you should be able to find off-street parking a few blocks away from the convention center.

Can you give me an idea of how much it would cost a day on average to park in that area? Or, direct me to where I can find out?

Thanks again for the help. I'm probably going to end up in the city after all since it seems to be about the same final pricing. I will just have to walk a couple blocks which is no big deal.
