PM pop-up window

For some reason, the pop-up for private messages isn't coming up, even though I have that box checked in my profile.

A bunch of other people have reported this as well, so it's not just me.

yeah it's happening to me too. i thought it was because my browser is blocking pop-ups. i know a work around that will make pop-ups alert windows. does this sound better?

I know that I have pop-ups allowed for this site on Firefox -- but I'm still not getting the messages.

The work around wouldn't hurt to try, though.

I get pop-ups only in Internet Explorer.

Could this actually be a bug with the message detection system?

I just ran a test

1) Send myself a message
2) After it's sent, don't go back to your messages, use the Jinxworld forum index link

So, I know I have a message in there, but it says "You have no new messages " at the top
