Oni is always looking for people that we think would fit in with our aesthetic tastes. The problem is that the vast vast majority of what people send us is just not appropriate. You would not believe how many superhero books, vampire stories, and demon-porn submissions we get.
I swear... I had one guy come to our booth and ask if there was anything I was looking for. I told him anything but superheroes or vampires. I swear to God, the dude actually said, "Well... I have a vampire superhero pitch that I think can change your mind." And he actually insisted on giving me his pitch.
