Did you know that I named a character in Daredevil after C.B.?

In my very first work for Marvel ever, as writer of Daredevil, the Cebulski characters in DD are named after our dear C.B.!

hmm.. I think I recall that. He seems to get that alot. His name was in the Marvel Ultimate Alliance game,too.

This was one of the coolest moments in comics for me EVER! Dave didn't tell me ahead of time and I only found out when the issue came out! Someone actually asked me to sign a copy once, which was weird but cool. Thanks again, Dave!!

Yeah and there was Chester Buloski in Runaways! He was drawn like Ceebs too!

This thread actually inspired me...

I'm writing a couple of "Future Shocks" that I'm submitting to 2000 A.D. soon.

In one of the stories, there's a stunning and unobtainable female crewperson that a drunken captain is pining over. She's an Angelina Jolie type from another world...elegant, gorgeous, radiant...with tentacles for hair.

Was racking my brain for a name for her - I wanted something that sounded exotic, but vaguely aloof, kind of Ukranian or Hungarian...

...then I saw this thread.

Stand by world, for the coming of...CEBULSKA!

If this trifle of a story ever sees print, I'll send ya a copy, C.B.

I spotted this when the issue came out and immediately asked CB's sister about it- but she CLEARLY had no clue.

I also loved the CB look-alike in Runaways!
