Shiki is a little harder to categorize, but I would have to say it's more than firmly rooted in fantasy. In a nutshell, it's about a teenage girl named Saya who upsets the Gods of the Four Seasons, who then decide that her valley will no longer enjoy the change of seasons as punishment for her actions. Saya must then travel to the Lands of the Four Seasons and apologize to the Gods of Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring in order for her home and people to survive. It's a 12-issue series that begins next year in late Spring/early Summer. Joćo Lemos is the artist and has a style unlike any you've ever seen. He's going to be a star and I predict his art will be trend-setting in this industry, making a stylistic impact along the lines of what Mike Mignola and Bruce Timm have done.

Really beautiful art. I'm undecided on Avengers Fairy Tales but I'll definitely be watching for Shiki.
Looking forward to Avengers Fairy Tales, but that Shiki art looks AMAZING!
