A bunch of supervillains all in a prison, chaos and insanity ensues and one hero whose only 'power' is really good aim is stuck in the middle? Sounds good to me.

So we can look forward to Ollie shaving off the beard and going in a "new, gritty direction"? yay!

Unfortunately, that will happen, if the movie happens.

I think this would work better if they were using a grey-area or noble villain.
I'd like to see a character like Deadshot or Catman or something getting in there.

This sounds interesting but there's gonna need to be quite a bit of back story or something. Unless there just gonna make this movie and then spinoff Green Arrow and other characters. This could almost be an episode of Smallville.

    Yeah, you're full of it.
Besides which, Wonder Woman has a huge mainstream following that doesn't buy her comics. GA isn't even in the same league.

Sounds to me like an extreme security prison which would hold people like the Unabomber, the Shoebomber, David Berkowitz and Woody Harrelson's dad. But there you go

I like the sound of this. Green Arrow wont ever get his own movie, but making him the star of something like this could really work.

So, what do you guys think on casting for Ollie?

I'm thinking Matthew McConaughey. He really says Green Arrow to me.

I think that would be an inspired choice.
