Rick Burchette is CORRECT about She-Hulk's height

One more thing I have to vent about. There are some She-Hulk fans complaining that Rick Burchette is drawing She-Hulk too short. I've seen several posts even claiming that she isn't 6'7". They may not like how Burchette draws the She-Hulk, but give the man credit---he's the first artist on the book who has drawn her height CORRECTLY.

When Juan Bobillo started drawing She-Hulk, he depicted her as being well over seven feet---about two heads taller than her human alter ego. I have to give credit to Tom Burgos for noticing this first. Tom pegged the new She-Hulk height at about 7'2". All the other artists who have come after Juan---Paul Pellettier, Will Conrad, and Paul Smith---have followed Bobillo's lead and drawn the She-Hulk as 7'2" even though she ISN'T that tall in other books. Rich Burchette is the first artist to draw her at her original height.

I prefer this change. She is still an imposing character at 6'7", but she no longer seems ridiculously tall. I also liked the way Burchette drew She-Hulk and I hope more fans give him a chance.

I've always taken the Handbook stats with a grain of salt. Too many inconsistencies and contradictions with what was shown in the stories themselves for me to accept their accounts as definitive.

Besides, character height flucuates widely from one artist to the next. Some draw all their characters the same height within the same gender, others exagerate. Questionable perspective also makes it hard to tell sometimes.

So "officially" She-Hulk is 6'7" and that seems to be how Burchett draws her. But "officially" Jen is 5'10" and I don't know if anyone has ever drawn her over 5'6".
