I like what he says about not writing like Thomas or Busiek. It's one of the things that bug me the most about people who want a book to be like it was at some point in its history just 'cause. That level conservatism can eventually kill a comic, I think, and will probably be what puts superhero comics down, eventually. I think so, anyway.
Great interview, I'm really looking forward to Bendis' stories on both titles. I like the fact that he's going to be doing two views of the same story and making both teams worthy of the Avengers name.
I especially like the idea of the Avengers taking on Marvel's premiere villain, Dr. Doom.
