No, fuck that. All the time you spend on here, you could be working out. It's your choice. Do want the body you wish you had or to sit in front of your computer posting messages?

Here's a couple of things I did to drop 15 pounds in about 6 weeks. I went from 150 to 135, which is my ideal weight.

    - Cut out soda. Drinking sugar is the fastest way to gain weight, because it doesn't fill you up and has no nutritional value. I now live on water and sports drinks, which are half the calories of soda.

    - Don't cut too much out of your diet. If you completely eliminate your favorite snacks, you'll be more tempted to cheat. Ration them, and give them to yourself as a treat after exercise, for instance.

    - Have a tasty, low calorie snack handy for when you watch TV. I use Corn Chex. It's whole grain, fat free, and only 100 calories a serving. By providing yourself with the healthy alternative, you avoid temptation.

    - Exercise more. It doesn't have to be a complete fitness regimen. Just try to walk more and do some basic exercises. For instance, I do sit-ups during commercial breaks.

    - Just watch what you eat in general, and don't overeat. I can't prescribe a specific diet, because everyone needs something different for their body. You'll figure out what you need, and then eat it in moderation.

This diet will work slowly, but it'll start working immediately. You'll start dropping pounds slowly over the first few days. Good luck, dude.

You know, first of all, don't let this culture get to you. Something you should avoid, unless obese to the point where it's dangerous, is extreme dieting, especially the ones that tell you to cut off an essential nutrient.

The no carbs diet is stupid. Don't do it. Yeah, there are some carbonhydrates that you should avoid, but those are SIMPLE carbonhydrates, like in white bread. You need the complex carbonhydrates. Didn't Atkins death teach anyone anything?

If you feel that you need to lose weight, eat more sensibly. Eat a banana instead of that Hershey bar. Don't eat so much junk food and avoid fast food places (yes, even the ones with salads.) Eat more healthy food in every three meals, and have a variety of it. And I've heard that it's suggest that you eat only 80% of what's your natural limit.

How's your fiber intake? Eating enough fiber should help allow you to maintain a normal body weight.

Exercise is probably the best way to lose weight. Not a big sports person? Doesn't matter. In my spare time I dance nude to Queen and the Rolling Stones around the house. And at least three times a week I bike around the neighborhood, at night. It's a real thrill. Plus, TRY to find a sport that you can enjoy. I'm generally not someone who plays sports, but I love soccer.

Dude, losing weight that fast isn't worth it. Let me tell you something, people can tell when you lose weight quickly. Everyone could tell when Oprah did it, and they all make fun of her for that.

The fact is, if you're going to lose weight, it's only worth it if it's long term. Losing it quickly is dangerous and short term. Losing it slower by eating more healthily will be more long term and not dangerous (if you do it right.)

Here's another fact, I'm not a doctor. Go to your doctor and ask him healthy ways to lose weight.

And trust me, if you starve yourself, you'll probably give up on day 3, and become fatter beacause you'll so hungry.

    NO MORE FOOD!
A greatway to burn fat is to do cardio on an empty stomach as soon as you wake up. You can do it low intensity, even. Just a fast-paced walk for 45 minutes. I guarantee youll see results in 4 weeks max.

Grab a bonesaw and remove your legs for a quick 30-pound drop. Your friends will notice the difference immediately.

losing water weight is easy, but deceiving. It's certainly nowhere near permanent, but it's something you can do to fit into tux or whatever. And afterwards, start eating healthy and excersize. otherwise you will gain everything back twice as fast and sometimes even more.
Sorry, but eat Carbs, you need them. Don't eat them like their's no tomorrow, but eat some. Sugar should be kept out of your diet and do drink lots of water. If your working out...or mowing the lawn, you need to replenish some of what you lost. Honestly man, working out alone will give your results, but it will take longer, the same thing goes with cutting down what you eat alone. For best results combine the both...GET OF YOUR ASS!

Like Pat said, you could lose anywhere from 2-5 pounds a week, depending on your metabolism. I'm betting yours is pretty slow, if you don't excersice and eat crap. So you'll have to settle for 2 or 3 a week.

I find that cycling to work or just tooling around town is a fun way to get exercise. In the summer I don't take the subway at all, but ride my bike everywhere.

I get fit, and I save money. Good luck with it.

    I agree.

The best thing for you to do is not askfor help here. go to www.supplementcentral.com and read and THEN ask questions. Its a great site that has alot of bodybuilders, but theyre knowledgable in all health aspects and wont feed you bullshit. Only do this if youre serious.
