That is a very nice cover.
I know that this is almost sacrilege, but I think Greg does his best work when it is not cheesecake.
He does great cheesecake, just the other ones are better.
SHE-HULK #19
Written by DAN SLOTT
Penciled by RICK BURCHETT
Cover by GREG HORN
"The Gamma Defense"
She-Hulk's law firm has defended super-villains before, but never one of "the big ones." Has Mallory Book finally gone too far? Can she honestly expect She-Hulk to help her represent her cousin's greatest foe--the twisted, mass-murdering genius men call THE LEADER?!!
Plus: If you thought a certain someone was dead and buried...you'd be wrong. And you'll NEVER guess where they are now!

This has got me excited after I was disappointed by #15. Should be nice to see a new court case.
It'll be good to be back in the courtroom - not that I'm minding the current arc, but I admit I've been missing the legal action a bit (when was the last one, #8? I don't really count the conclusion to Starfox's trial, it's the contrast of superhero wackiness being put through real-world court proceedings that I like). And I'm very glad to see the thread of Mallory's villain fixation coming back - it's teased me ever since the beginning of this 'season'.
Who's coming back that we thought was dead and buried, though? Not Stu, surely? I mean, he was said to be absolutely dead, no question about it, met his writer, gone to the long box in the cemetary, bagged, boarded and shelved for all time. Who else is there? Or could it mean 'dead and buried' in the sense that we thought they were gone for good, even though they're alive - Southpaw? Holden?
Greg Horn really does do great work, cheesecake or otherwise - his covers aren't just lovely, they're full of character and individuality.
Stu is the first one I thought of as well. Even though Dan said a character was going to die in the issue that Stu as shot, I'm not completely ruling him out. I wonder, though, if the "dead and buried" certain someone could be a character from another series, such as Gravity, or someone from long ago?
I'm also glad to see the law firm and legal hijinks return. Knowing this is coming will make the current storyline more of a fun diversion that will no doubt still have some lasting consequences.
Looks and sounds like fun! Count me in!
I noticed that too. Another possibility is that, as a condition of getting out of her SHIELD obligations, Jen may have to give up being She-Hulk when in public, essentially retiring from active superheroing. It wouldn't last, of course, but it would be interesting to see how Jen adapts if she's forced to give that up.
I wouldn't rule out it being a purely internal thing for Jen, not mandated by GLK&H or SHIELD (or anyone else who use capital letters and decide when she gets to be green). Dan started his run with Shulkie with her having preferenced the She-Hulk side of herself too much, and then slowly turned her around to where she was prioritising being Jen too much. Now she's swung back the other way, to She-Hulk over Jen. (Which is not to say that it's a repetition of an idea that's been done, because people don't have a problem once and then solve it for the rest of their lives.) I think, having had that prior experience of ignoring the Jen side of herself and where it leads, she's in a better position now to recognise what's happening to her, and take steps to correct it herself without anyone necessarily forcing her to be Jen again, as Holden had to at first.
