For The People I Have Shared Good Times With Here

I am not an overly sentimental person by nature, and I try not to share too many of the really important details of my life while posting. There are some people here though whose posts I read with regularity; sometimes for insight, most times for the sense of humor.

I probably will not be around as much for awhile as my mother died last night at approximately 1:45 a.m. She was a heart transplant recipient, and in the words of one of her nurses, "one tough old broad", but her recent illness was too much for her body to fight off, and almost a month after slipping into unconsciousness almost four weeks ago, her body finally gave out. My concern at this time turns to my father who is fighting cancer, and I don't want him to lose his will to live.

It is my hope that I will be a regular poster here again soon. Thanks for listening, and take care.

My deepest condolences Dennis, i lost my mother when i was younger and that's always a tough pill to swallow. Knowing that you're dad is fighting Cancer at the same time must be really tough.
