You bought that CD, take the music from it.

If you already tried to play the audio CD at least once in you computer, perform the following

    For Windows2000
    Go into Device Manager
From View drop down menu, check "Show hidden devices"
    Expand Non-Plug and Play Drivers
    Scroll down to "SbcpHid"
    Right click and select Properties
    Click on Driver tab
    Change Startup Type to Disabled
    Click Ok
    Close Device Manager
    Reboot

If the audio CD is the kind that has it's own application (fancy built in menu, etc.) that starts up when you put the disc in the CDROM drive,
Hold down the left Shift key and put the audio CD in
iTunes or whatever should now be able to rip the music tracks

This will work for Velvet Revolver's Contraband and Kasabian's self titled album.

Here's another webpage that talks about this.

You already bought the audio CD, you shouldn't have to also buy the digital version.
    Enjoy

    um, thanks?

remember kids, pressing the shift key is a violation of the Digital Millenium Copyright Act. I only wish I was kidding.

Wow. Amazing. I was able to rip the music off of "Contraband" and I didn't even have to do any of that shit. Easy-to-follow instructions were included right inside the box!
