I don't like Monopoly. I always thought it was mean. And boring. I call it Monotony.
I'm a big fan of Clue and Monopoly. Who doesn't like playing those games? Plus you add in the fact that I've got a ton of different variations of those 2 games (Star Wars Monopoly, Simpsons Clue....just to name a few)...that way there is a bit of variaty to the whole experience.

I feel remarkably unburdened with the need to explain, justify or defend anything I say, feel or do online to any self-entitled anonymous snarkwit who feels I owe their point of view a form of cogent argument or debate. Life is too short to stress myself arguing with strangers over minutiae. Ya don't like it, ignore me and go read something else. -WinterRose
Risk 2201 is awesome, but whenever I try to get my friends to play it, they get bored or angry. FredC hates to lose. We also tried to play Munchkin, which is an awesome comedic card game, but FredC hates to lose at that even more. I play Heroclix, but I don't know if it really counts because its a COLLECTIBLE board game. I also own Heroscape, but haven't even tried it. In a more conventional boardgame sense, I too kicked ass at clue, and right now, I'm looking for someone who will teach me how to play Go. That game is a box of confusion.
My new favorite is Gheos. Kind of like Carc, but with wars and shit. Thurn and Taxis (Spiel des Jares winner) is another good one.
My game collection is somewhere around 300 or so.

Would also recommend any game form Cheapass Games (Kill Doctor Lucky and Zombie Fries are fan favorites here).

What if Hayao Miyazaki directed Futurama...
Spoiler:
Also, for anyone who is turned off by the Cheapass approach, there is a full deluxe version by Titanic games.
For me, most cheapass games are fun for a couple plays, but then the novelty wears off. A couple notable exceptions: The Very Clever Pipe Game, Brawl, Agora.
