P.S.--If I might make a recommendation in comics, I highly recommend Muth's re-release of "M" in graphic novel form, a retelling of the Fritz Lang film from the early 1930's. It is so gorgeous it is hard to believe. A reminder that I have much to learn.
Josh, I'm a Leonard Cohen admirer too. I recommend a recent collection of his poetry called "The Book of Longing".

Also I just finished a book by Daniel Quinn called- "If they give you lined paper write sideways". It is a discussion of he a reader about his though process as a sort of outsider anthropologists of humans behavior and history.
Very thought provoking.

I follow up with some other recent reads soon.
