Oh, man. I was just talking with Rory in San Francisco a couple of months ago.
Like you, Tom, he was a big supporter from the early days. He had us sign at his story in the early days (me, Bendis, Greg Horn, Jim Hudnall in 96 and 97.
He ran a super store, and was always giving advice and support.
I'd see him a few times each year at conventions in San Fran, every San Diego, etc.
He'd always pick up Kabuki supplies from me to keep his store stocked and he had a super selection and was always friendly like we'd just picked up where we left off from the last time.
I've seen him on such a regular basis for the last 13 years, it is really difficult to think he is gone.
