I've only seen the Ireland one, which was good, if not a bit subdued. It felt a lot like the Bourdain in Beirut episode last season.
Still have to watch Ghana and Pac NW. I savor that show like fine champagne.

Bacon/Maple donuts. I almost called Bendis to see if he'd run downtown and Fed Ex me a dozen.

Im gonna have to make a trip down to Portland for the maple/bacon donut, that is something i have to try.
The part about Salumi in downtown seattle was great. That place is every bit as good as he was gushing about. Ive been very late getting back from lunch several time because of it and never felt guilty at all. It really is an amazing place.
just thinking about a hot soppresata sandwich is making me hungry again.

That reminds me that a) i want to try that place when I'm up there and b) I was sad Tony didn't go to meet the man.

It's hard to convince anyone that there's much of value here on the eastside when there is so much in Seattle.

Fuck, I may just hit Dunkin Donuts and buy a couple maples to bring home and top with bacon. I loved the drug analogy he was using when the craving for another of those monsters kicked in.
