Hi first found out about David Mack when he did the Ms. Marvel covers, which I thought were great. Kind of a cross between traditional art and comic book art, and I am always a fan of bashing together styles.
I really don't know much about Kabuki, but at least now I know to look for it.
By the way, does the editor of the book decide who does the cover art, etc. etc.? I have to say, if so, the editor for the Ms. Marvel book is a smart guy from the creative teams he has working on it.
Or maybe it's just dumb luck. *shrugs*
MACK!

Hi Thanks!
And welcome to my work!
Nice to give the editor some props! He is a smart guy. Andy Schmidt (or schmidty as we affectionately call him)!
I first worked with him when he was editing ALIAS which I did all the covers too.
And at one point he had asked me to write the series, but when I heard Brian Reed was interested in writing it I said that he was way more appropriate to it and Brian is a swell guy!
So props to Reed and the editor.
Glad you liked the covers. Check out davidmackguide.com to find about more of my work.
I hope you enjoy Kabuki!
Let me know what you think.
Best,
David

Intercept - the mack guide really tipped me over as a Mack fan, so yes indeed it's a fine, fine resource. And if I may, I suggest you read kabuki FOR FREE right here:
