They're both great...but the second one is awesome...nice work, sir.

so in the second one, are we to assume that's a gigantic dardevil that's about to eat out a normal sized Elektra, or is it a miniature Elektra about to get eaten out by a normal sized Daredevil? Either way, bravo sir.

also, maybe at the NY Comicon if i don't spend too much money on my trip to Argentina, i may commission you for a nude scarlet witch sketch :heybaby:

the second one actually made me say 'whoa' because you know... it's very suggestively designed.

they're both beautiful

how about you, MACK! and Oeming doing a pin-up book? I mean the painting you're all doing is just sick.

As much as I love your b/w art, I kinda dislike your watercolors. They're good, don't get me wrong. I couldn't even begin to think I know anything about painting, or drawing. They're just too dark for my tastes. For me, they'd look better as inkwashed images instead of colored.

But that's just personal taste.

I don't know. I really don't dig the whole "wet" look watercolors can give. Some people dig it, and that's cool, but it never worked for me. Even as a little kid, in art class, I refused to use watercolors because I didn't like how they looked. At 6, that impressed my teacher enough to the point where she broke out her acryllics and let me play with them in lieu of that.

However, these days, after seeing some of the things Vargas did with watercolors and after reading a chapter he wrote about his watercolor techniques in one of the books about him, I'm curious to mess around with them.

Both are fantastic, fan of the solo Elektra myself more, have you thought of doing a painted book at all, I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd appreciate(=buy the shit out of) it

Alex, are you moving more towards this traditional fine art type of style in your sequential work or are you sticking with the same sort of gritty noir style that you've become known for during your time at Marvel?

Very nice. Very suggestive, but quite nice.

Alex, Spider-Woman can't start soon enough. Lark is doing a good job on Daredevil, but I miss my monthly Maleev fix.

Maybe one day I will, if the project is right.

Only for my commission work. It's very time consuming and it will be a bitch to do it monthly. That's just for the pleasure of painting with watercolors.
