i might agree with you, but i watch colbert for colbert.

if the guest is someone im already familar with, ala joe q, then i just love to hear colbert joke with/about them.

if the guest is someone im not familar with, and seems really cool, ala will wright, i usually go online and find more stuff about them.
( for example : spore video (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=8372603330420559198) )

and then if the guest is someone i couldnt care less about, id rather hear colbert talk.

btw, great signature. is there more of that somewhere?

The worst part is when the guest is too amused by Colbert to play along. Mike Lupica, a guy who is on ESPN every week, acted like he had never been on TV before.
