Hi David fans,
I got to hang out and chat with David this past Saturday at the Paradise Comics Toronto Comicon and had a fantastic day. I even purchased two original art pages from him from the "Metamorphosis" series. To read more about it and to check out some pics, feel free to visit my blog at:

I also got the chance to meet and chat with Mr. Mack on the Sat of the TorontoCon. I must say that David Mack is one of the most approachable and friendly guys. I decided to begin my Kabuki journey then and there.
It was my pleasure to meet you David.

Hey JC, I saw you at David's table, I was getting the Kabuki Portfolio signed.
You told me about how you bought the Middleton page the week before.
Damn man, those pages are incredible.

This past weekend was my first real con and I also met Mack. It was really awesome. I had him sign my copies of the Wake Up arc from DD and Alias #1. I also bought Circle of Blood becuase I've been meaning to start in on Kabuki once I had some post-bills cash and I figured when I met David would be the perfect time to start. He was super cool and even gave me a little discount and a couple of free comics.
Thanks, David! It was an awesome weekend.

Hey, of course I remember you. It was nice meeting you. Let me know if you ever see another portfolio for sale anywhere as I still need to get one. Also, let me know if that whole Josh Middleton mess gets sorted out. I hope that punk (no, not Middleton) gets what's coming to him.

Getting to meet Mack is always fantastic. He's one of my favourite creators to speak to (even though I've only gotten to speak to him twice). I've probably spent an hour with him total, and for the most part, it wasn't even comics talk. I'd love for him to write a biography of all the intereting things that he's done.

That biography is coming up as my next planned story/art project after the current Kabuki story!
There is a sneak peek of it in the current Kabuki #4.
But lots more where that came from!
All true...
except some names may have to be changed to protect the guilty and living.
But I promise it will be interesting!
I hope everyone dug the snippit of auto-bio story in Kabuki #4.
And great to see all of you at the Toronto show!
Thanks a lot for coming!
Looking forward to seeing some of you in Wizard World Philly in June!

Ahhh! Freakout!
I've been doing Kabuki mostly though trades, but now I'll have to get issue four for some crazy Mack history!

Hi all,
This is my first post here at Jinxworld. I came to check out the new boards after David told me about em.
I got to meet David in Toronto as well. I echo everything all you guys are saying about what a nice guy David is, and would recommend anyone going to a con he will be at to go and talk to the Mack!
David, just wanted to say thanks for the books and everything, I really appreciate it. Above and beyond...My girlfriend is now a fullblown Mack addict, btw. Her favorite book is now Kabuki. Again, thanks a ton.
Hope ya liked the Raven...
J!
