It was working this morning but...
This is what I know... I went to "control panel" and mouse. The touchpad is turned on.
When I plugged in a wireless mouse, the computer responds and works with the wireless mouse.
How can I get my touchpad to work again?

Reinstall the driver?
Unplug Mouse
I have a laptop and when a mouse is plugged in touchpad dont work.
Some laptops wont work with two mice which technically a touchpad is so the regular mouse trumps the touchpad

How can I lose a driver?
I'll try this later today.

In the movies, they always turn down a narrow alleyway that the other car want fit into or speed through a busy intersection or railroad crossing so that the other car gets cut off by a big truck or train.

What I think is happening...
I think that the "buttons" on the touchpad are stuck/smooshed down and they are not releasing.

Update....
Well, I did nothing. For the last month I have been using a mouse. For some reason today, the touchpad started working again.
Wow! How's that for "computers".

It got jealous because you kept touching yourself all the time.
