The Donner Cut shows how dumb the Salkinds really were

The inclusion of the scenes of Brando as Jor-El alone make this movie much better than the original cut. These guys had Brando, but were too greedy to cough up the extra money to use it, and instead had a mediocre film when it could have been so much better. At least now we get to see it, but it just boggles my mind that this happened.

Yeah, it was much better than the Lester cut. Well worth the money. It sold out here really fast too. I don't think they had too many copies to begin with, though.

I'm hoping I get this for Christmas, though I was surprised to find that Wal-Mart wasn't carrying it (at least, not the Wal-Mart in my town).

I just picked up the Ultimate Collection today...Currently watching the extended cut of the First Superman movie. Then I'm gonna watch Superman II: The Donner Cut...and then I may or may not attempt to watch Superman III and IV...haven't decided yet..

I'm soooo giddy right now.

you guys all aware that there are 2 errors in the 14 disc set?

the first disc of superman:the movie has the wrong audio track..it should be the 1978 audio not the 2000 one

also Superman III disc is actually the one from the previous release and not the deluxe verision...

wb has already set up a # to call and get replacements...as they occured in all the shipments.

also my 14th disc of Bryan Singers Journals was all scratched up (had fallen out of the case b4 opening.)

Yeah, I called for the replacement discs, and oddly enough, my Singer Journals disc won't work, as well.

Also, does your Look Up In The Sky disc not have the same design as the other discs (blue on one half of the disc)?

yep its a diff design...its from the single disc release of it from june..not sure why they used it.

Maybe it's leftovers? It's just annoying that it doesn't match, especially since the promo photos showed it with the new design.
